Bevan Mitchell, RYS 500

Bevan’s love of yoga began with an Ashtanga book in a small town in Ecuador in 2003.  In order to deepen her practice, and learn how to share her passion for yoga with others, she completed her first 200-hour teacher training in 2005.  Since that time she has completed over 500 additional hours on her yoga path with Sarah Powers, Eric Schiffman, Tiffany Cruikshank, Cristen Malia and Janet Stone.  PAST AND CURRENT TEACHING HERE

Bevan believes in the power of yoga and meditation to clear the mind, challenge the body, and accept everything as it comes, allowing her to live a more balanced and authentic life.  Her teaching is focused on bringing her students an appreciation for the grace of movement and breath in all of their daily experiences.
